@wittlin It depends what you mean by forgiving. The fabric has zero stretch, if you want to know how the fit is. It’s not a dress that you can squeeze your way into, you either fit into it or you don’t. But if you’re asking more in terms of silhouette, I would say this dress doesn’t emphasize the waist and hip areas because of the cut and draping qualities of the fabric. Hope this helps.
