Sedum thick, fleshy leaves store water, allowing it to survive extended dry periods. Require very little maintenance. Sedum gives out blooms in late summer that last till late fall. From very light pink to dark pink and later crimson, the flowers show a stunning show of colors in a form of clusters of tiny flowers that looks like the shape of clouds. Pollinators love this plant. You might see bumble bees, honey bees, and butterflies along with other pollinators. The plant is Succulent, perennial, hardy, deer resistant, and drought tolerant. The only thing Sedum does not like is overwatering. In zones 8-10, sedum stays green even in winter. It is able to handle even the occasional snowfall. In very colder zones, it should be protected by heavy mulch or planted in pots. The blooms grow on a stem that dries out in winter. Carefully remove these stems along with the dried clusters. Sedum does not require regular feed. Sedum can be planted even in late fall. or all year long if placed indoor.
