mizwendysue Flat they are 7 inches across so 14 inches, the elastic bands in the back allow them to open up an extra 2 inches to a full 16 inches at the top. I've had them for years but have only worn them once or twice as they were just too tight for me. I just noticed they are starting to peel on the inside zipper area but the outside is perfect. I'll sell for less if you are interested.

julietteceku @mizwendysue They are beautiful boots. I do have a question. So, I have bunions but that doesn't usually stop me from wearing regular sized shoes. When you say these were tight, did you mean that they are narrow in the toe area? if so then I might have trouble as well :(

mizwendysue @julietteceku Unfortunately I think they are slightly narrow. I never wore them enough to stretch them out so not sure how much they will give. A tape measure from sole to sole across the widest part of the toe is 5 inches. They were too tight for me in the upper calf and the ankle area. Now I wear an 8.5 so they are real tight on me.
