The item’s lot number from Sugar Cane’s website is SC11953 It has went through the one-wash process in the factory and should not have anymore shrinkage upon further washes. Size 40 (L)—— Pit to pit: 22.75 Shoulder: 19.75 Length:25.25 Sleeve:24.5 Very well made and sleek looking jacket, authentic 1953 type II fit, great Japanese denim fabric (this particular one was woven in Japan on a vintage shuttle loom with Zimbabwean cotton). Contoured fit, but I can see this size 40/L fit like a 42/XL I also have another one of these same jacket but in tag size 38/M. Please see my other listing. New WITHOUT tags. Only tried on a couple of times. Never worn out. Been hanging in a closet.
