@honey_bees1883 if we are on the same page about the dimensions, then you do have the true XL vs. the Park three (slightly smaller, but enough so that it’s less interesting to me. - a great quiet, basic tote)! Is yours pebbled and very malleable. May I be nosy and inquire why you’re parting with it?

@tabithateller I have pretty much every size in this tote. This one is definitely a weekend bag or if you carry a lot to work bag. It’s big. The leather is top notch. It’s pretty amazing. I wish they made this bag in the smaller version same leather. I hate to part with it but I tend to use my Goyard more and need to sell to make room for others. If I had all the funds in the world I would never part with it lol
The pouch is amazing too!!!

@honey_bees1883 I just looked at your closet and think you sold the park 3 (measurements not listed) which is a permanent collection piece. The green may have been that size, too - can’t tell. It’s a great bag, but I can’t justify both - wish I’d waited for yours, but since it was runway, I didn’t have much hope. I’d also bookmarked your backpack a few weeks ago which I just noticed in your closet!

Trying to figure out the Massimo backpack vs. the Joe and the Sporty (which I love in nylon)If you watch Neelam Ahooja’s TR reviews and Substack, it makes life easier than hauling to nyc! Keeping my eye on these two bags, but the xl tote is entering Margaux territory.

@honey_bees1883 Yes - yet absolutely everything changes. I yearn for original Calvin, more so for John Pawson (his architect). I used to go to the flagship and lie on the 36” square limestone floor. Now it’s James Perse in black and white 95% of the time. I’m pretty much an ocean nomad ready to live on Tinos. Can’t recall the last time I wore a serious LBD - got rid of almost everything and never look back. I will say Tom Ford cut sublime suits for Gucci when I needed them!

I would literally gift you anything for that tote that you could resell! I don’t sell - not a ton to part with, but It’s the correct bag - like the inside out Margaux - and one is enough if it’s right. They may well not make that size again. Makes the Park three look librarian-ish even though it’s a perfectly great basic bag. This is how I felt about Phoebe’s big “big bag” which is never anywhere and I don’t think she did it in black. The medium is cool, but not AS cool.

Ok, I’m obsessed. If your dimensions line up in a video like you did of the Massimo… , I’ve only been in these platforms for a couple of months, but have been extremely lucky and diligent about the edit. But four pairs of new, classic, current Manolo at $25/pair is wild. Same with SL. If there is a combo way you could feel completely comfortable/whole, confident, please lmk. I cannot believe I just negotiated a Park 3 for an amazing price! Perhaps there is a way, but if not, I understand.

Sorry…annoying. Just FYI…They did just drop the xl park in nubuck chocolate and a lighter mocha/tan $3300 and in leather $2490, but maybe lightly pebbled - not as smooth as yours appears. No bags at the recent Paris boutique show and zero color (the red of the past freaked me out). Back to basics. Relieved in a way!
