This is a vintage 1970s maxi dress with a matching bolero from Sun Casuals of Hawaiʻi. I believe the brand was sold at Liberty House back in the day. The dress is in pristine condition with no flaws that I noticed. Barely seems like it was ever worn at all. I love the fabric covered buttons with loop closures, one on the bolero and one on the back of the dress by the neck. The aorta of details that make vintage clothing extra special 😍 I got this from an auntie but it’s too small for me. The label reads size 6 (vtg) which is a 0-2 in modern sizing. Please see measurements in photos. The fabric is 100% polyester and has quite a bit of stretch. For reference, I’m normally a size 4 and I can get it on but it would look better on someone more petite. Fabric is black with stalks of wheat or flowers in white, grey, and browns. Perfect for Fall. A great addition for collectors of vintage Hawaiian fashion, or for anyone who likes comfortable vintage 70s dresses that don’t need an iron.
