Superb Vintage 1960s 1970s Modelia Pleated Mod Skirt Suit Rare Minimalist Mod

There is quite a bit of hand-stitching on this suit, so you know it’s fantastic quality! *Skirt was tight on the mannequin. Jacket was also a bit small, that’s why the sleeves are rather short. Skirt: Lined Pleats all around Metal side zipper, hook/eye Knee length Jacket: Hidden snap closures Fold down collar Lined Bracelet length sleeves Princess seaming front/back Back center seam Tags say: Modelia, ILGWU label in jacket. Skirt has a paper tag. I believe the outer fabric is a heavy wool. Skirt is in excellent vintage condition with just 3 tiny holes in the back of the lining. Jacket in very good vintage condition, there is just one area on right sleeve by cuff where there is a moth nibble or got caught on something. It’s not obvious, and a skilled seamstress could probably hide it. Lining at armpits is discolored. The lining is fully intact, it’s just discolored, which obviously doesn’t show when worn. The belt is included. I don’t know if it is original to the suit or not, and it shows wear/damage. Measurements are taken with garments lying flat, doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself, so please be sure to leave room for your body and movement as fabric is NOT stretchy!
