Suzanne Betro Red Velvet dress, knee length

I bought this dress for my teen daughter several years ago to wear during the holidays. She never ended up finding an occasion to do so. The color is a deep "blood" red (as opposed to cherry red).This isn't "real" velvet, it's polyester velvet, which feels like velvet, but has a ton more give. The a-line shape is very accommodating for many body types and because the fabric has lots of stretch, it's comfortable to wear. Sleeves are 3/4 length and the hem line falls below the knees on most people (midi length.) The fairly plain design means you can add a range of accessories to either elevate or decrease the level of fancy. (example: Doc Martens and a pleather jacket versus black velvet heels and Swarovski crystal jewelry) The size is M, which translates to 10-12.
