@alienunicorn27 hi! The dress stops above the knee. I can get exact measurements if you need. Also yes it actually does adjust around the waist to tighten if needed.

From the waist tie to the bottom hem is 17 3/4 inches.
From shoulder to shoulder it’s 18 inches
