mosigeex3 @pkayne11 - Happy New Year! The armpit measure is 15" (not stretched out); and the sweater stretches out to approx. 19" across. It's a fine stretch wool knit. I also will be listing a VERY NICE wool jacket/coat in the same color. I also have a cashmere scarf of the same hue, too - listed in the scarf section! Together they will keep anyone warm!

mosigeex3 @pkayne11 - It's also washable! Contrary to what a lot of manufacturer labels advise, most cashmere and wool items can be washed instead of dry cleaned - if in the machine (low/gentle cycle) or hand wash! My grandmother told me once 40 years ago that dry cleaning is not sanitary since your stuff is being processed with lots of other people's clothing. Now, they are reporting that these chemicals are toxic!
