Synchilla jacket

There is a story as to how I ended up with two "large" Patagonia (great condition) Synchilla jackets that I'm now selling because they don't fit me. So, about 20 years ago clothing manufacturers pull the fast one. They massaged guys egos by making all clothing shirt and jacket sizes one size larger. Women weren't left out of this scheming by clothing manufacturers either as all the sizes were actually upsized so that a size 2 was actually a size 3 or 4. I remember at the time I was lifting weights and I was impressed that "apparently" I had gained enough size that I no longer wore medium shirts or medium jackets, but that I had to wear "large" jackets. Well, the reality is, we were all lied to by clothing manufacturers. So these Patagonia jackets are the original "large," that would now fit a guy who is probably buying extra large jackets. For those of you like me who have 20 or 30 year-old fleece jackets in a size medium, who are like me, are buying newer stuff that is "large," these jackets will be too big - and that is what I discovered after I bought them See attached last email with Patagonia customer service where we had a long back-and-forth conversation where they confirmed that these were older Synchilla jackets. I've also attached pictures of a newer "large" Patagonia fleece pull over.
