T. S. & T. Taylor Smith and Taylor Paramount Ivory Serving Platter

Vintage serving platter with painted gold line around rim. Approximately 9.5” x 13” Black background on detailing around edges featuring flowers and fruit: Pink roses, yellow flowers, and, alone in their stained-glass appearance, blue flowers. In each section there are painted peaches surrounded by blue. The back is stamped inside the image of a scroll: "T. S. & T. PARAMOUNT IVORY" "PAT. APPLD. FOR 2 29" "Paramount" refers to the unique shape- a long hexagon- of the tray, first seen in 1927. The shape was created by Kenneth P. Beaty for TT&T and features a scalloped border, embossed edge and octagonal well. Pattern: 416 by Taylor, Smith & T (TS&T) Please see photos for condition: there are a couple of very small marks that look like they may be burns, and one longer mark on the bottom.
