TABRA Turquoise & Heishi Waterfall Chandelier Earrings

Walk on the wild side in a dazzling pair of Tabra tribal earrings. Tabra is known for creating ethnic inspired jewelry that combines native patterns and universal symbols in contemporary, style statements. These dramatic, Boho chic, waterfall-style earrings feature oval, Turquoise cabochons (13/16" x 9/16") set in sterling silver bezels, mounted on half-moon shields with etched ray motifs surrounding the stones (so there). Each earring displays nine dangles strung with a variety of Turquoise, Heishi (shell), copper and silver spacers ending in a chevron pattern of sterling silver rounds. Like most Tabra chandelier earrings, this waterfall combination of ornaments sound like rain as they move about. These striking earrings are from around the 1990's and are in very good condition (no missing beads or chips). The Tabra signature is etched on the back of each shield (visible in picture 4). Earrings measure 3"L from the top of the half moon shield to the bottom of the longest dangle and are approximately 1-1/2" across the dangles when hanging still (which is almost never). All silver is sterling and the copper is solid copper. I will provide new safety clutches. FAQ: How heavy are they? The average weight for one earring is 13.61 grams. Two nickels and 1 penny weigh 12.50 grams. Depending on your monitor, earrings may appear slightly darker than they actually are (honestly, digital cameras...).
