This eco-friendly, organic jewelry is made from a nut called Tagua (pronounced TAG-WAH) or Vegetable Ivory. Tagua is a sustainable nut that grows from palm trees found mainly in the Ecuadorian rainforest. It takes the fruit 12-18 months to dry in order for it to become the hardened, natural nut used in Tagua jewelry.
This piece of jewelry has been handcrafted by amazing artisans. Each purchase secures above fair wages and brings life-changing opportunities for the artisans in their community. Shop Fair Trade.
