topcowgal Thank you for all the info. One more question (sorry) - I can't see the top of the skirt. If I needed it shortened a bit, does it look like it could be done from the waist area? Is there a waistband? Seems like it would be near impossible to shorten at the hemline due to the beautiful insets. Thanks again. Renee

topcowgal OK - I lied . . . thought of one more. Are there buttons/buttonholes on the backside of the sleeve at the hem? Would it be easy to shorten the sleeve length?

lovelytreasure @topcowgal Hello again Renee. So. The top of the skirt (do you need a picture or so believe it?) - without a waistband. Why shorten an already short skirt? Of course, the hemline cannot be shortened because of the beautiful lace inserts. And then ... the skirt (like the jacket) is lined. This (to shorten) is a very hard job even for professionals (I know what I'm talking about; I used to do sewing)

lovelytreasure @topcowgal Hi Renee. Why did you lie? (I don’t understand anything anymore) The buttons on the sleeves, like the loops/ buttonholes , are completely absent from the word. Why shorten the sleeves? I repeat: shortening something is very hard work, since the lining is on the skirt, on the jacket and on the sleeves too.
