sheshorts @artfulwendy yes they do angle up all the way around an area just shy of a quarter inch and the rise of it is maybe an eighth of an inch at least behind the heel where I measured but it looks and feels fairly uniform.

artfulwendy @sheshorts thanks. Those angled up edges on other shoes created calluses on the edge of my feet, so they won’t work. I don’t understand why they make shoes with this edge
