TAXCO Aztec Sterling Silver Abalone Faux Tortoise Bracelet Pin Earrings Set J537 Here we have a set from I believe the 1950's Mexico. The set is made of sterling silver and abalone shell inlaid to faux tortoiseshell (a rigid brown plastic). The scene is an old Aztec type of decoration. The bracelet is marked on the clasp "Sterling Mexico". It measures approx. 7.5" long by 1-3/8" wide. The brooch is unmarked (because they couldn't mark the plastic) and measures approx. 2-1/4" by 1-1/4". Earrings are screw back, marked on the metal "silver" and "Mexico" and measure approx. 15/16" by 3/4". NOTE: There is one small chip on one piece of bracelet. See the last two pictures to see the chip. Please look at the pictures for details and condition. The item pictured is the exact item you will receive.
