THE INCREDIBLE HULK

The 2008 American superhero movie The Incredible Hulk is based on the Hulk from Marvel Comics. It is the second movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is made and released by Marvel Studios (MCU). Edward Norton plays Bruce Banner alongside Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson, Ty Burrell, and Christina Cabot in this Louis Leterrier-directed film with a Zak Penn screenplay. In the movie, Bruce Banner accidentally plays the role of the Hulk as part of a military plot to revive the "Super-Soldier" program using gamma radiation. While trying to rid himself of the Hulk, Banner flees from the military.Norton was brought on board to rewrite Penn's screenplay and play Banner. His story set up the movie as a relaunch of the franchise, setting it apart from the original 2003 movie to give the new one its own personality. Ultimately, Norton's authorship received no credit. Between July and November 2007, filming was done, largely in Toronto, Canada, but also in New York City and Rio de Janeiro. In order to complete the movie, more than 700 visual effects shots were produced in post-production using a combination of motion capture and computer-generated imagery.
