TIFFANY & CO. Vintage 1837 Rubedo Bar Pendant Necklace

Excellent pre-loved condition. Vintage and becoming harder to find, Tiffany & Co. 1837 high polish rubedo pendant on original very fine, delicate Tiffany & Co. sterling silver (925) chain, produced in 2012. No detectable dings, dents or significant scratches to pendant. There may be very light surface scratches, commensurate with age, upon magnification. Chain is approximately 17” long. Pendant is approximately 2/16ths of an inch wide and just under 1.25” long. Rubedo is a metal that was created by Tiffany & Co. for their 150th anniversary. It consists of gold, copper, silver and zinc and has the appearance of a coppery rose gold color (see article excerpt in photos). Measurements and hallmarks in photos.
