nia1113 @elleemann It's true, it is worth the work & YOU are worth it!!! 💕😍💕 Sorry to hear that about your marriage, that is not an easy thing to deal with. I think I aged 10 years when I was going through my divorce in 2010-2011, I got a lot of new wrinkles & gray hair for sure! 👵 I never thought in a million years I'd be getting one (not that anyone really plans to) but I'd rather be divorced than live a lie. Took me a long time to start loving myself!

nia1113 @elleemann Well, YAH! It's always someone else's fault when it's too hard to look at the man in the mirror. Yes, it takes "two to tango", but most of us women (maybe because we instinctively love unconditionally & give until there's almost nothing left of ourselves) we're typically the ones trying to fix all the problems, find actual solutions to the relationship issues & in general make everything alright. I speak for myself in saying this:

nia1113 @elleemann I think that everyone could benefit from having a counselor! Even therapists have a therapist. Nobody is without their own issues; if we constantly are expecting someone else to do all the work in a relationship, they're going to tire of it eventually!! It was hard for me accepting my last relationship was over, I had already been through the divorce, then being single for over a year , so when I met this person, I clung to him like he was the best thing in the world!

nia1113 @elleemann Donell, there's NO thinking about it, YOU DO DESERVE A GAZILLION TIMES BETTER!! That being said, I was with my ex husband for a total of 13 years including the period of 8 years we dated & he cheated left & right on me but I could never prove it & of course he'd never just admit to it (the last 3 or 4 years I stayed it was because we had 2 kids together). I can remember so clearly the day he told me that he was only with me because we had the boys. I thought right then & there..

nia1113 @elleemann ..man, this is over!! I don't want to be miserable on account of having children w/this man. If Mama ain't happy, NOBODY is happy (meaning, I knew that sooner or later my kids would know just by the vibes that we weren't happily married) plus, I'm bad at lying & faking. My biggest mistake was thinking it wouldn't affect my kids because they were so young (2 & 4) when we actually divorced. Those are the formative years!!😲😭😢

nia1113 @elleemann I'm floored when a man blames the woman for his actions of cheating! It happens a lot, I think it's the only way they can wrap their own brains around the situation and somehow still sleep at night and be able to look at themselves in the mirror. Apparently your hub likes his own reflection, so it's just his way of keeping you under control & making you doubt yourself & not believe in your own intuition. 😠😡 P$$ me off though!! Grrr 💩
