I did however cut the shoulder pads out so there are small incisions inside the jacket shoulder *did not affect the integrity of jacket* The front of the jacket has a gold cross body zipper so you can choose to have it closed. It always beautiful cascades in the front if leaving undone. The jacket is a mix of beautiful light colors that look wonderful any time of the year
