RARE, 1960s, 24K Gold Plate, Chrysoprase Gemstone, Figural Owl Brooch Pin, Book Piece by FRANCISCO TORTOLANI**. This high-end, Designer Owl measures 2" x 1" x 1/2" deep with a secure rollover clasp. Constructed of 24k Gold Plate over hand-poured and polished pewter, this Night Owl is highly detailed, and three-dimensional, with a smooth and textured finish. What makes this piece so unique is that it also has an apple green, raw, Chrysoprase Gemstone at owl's feet. In my 40-years of collecting Tortolani pieces, this is the only example I have seen!
