TREESJE Leather Crossbody Black Bag designed to be timeless and sophisticated Treesje is a California-based luxury handbag brand that was founded in 2005. The brand is known for its sophisticated styles and effortless glam. Treesje handbags are made with high-quality leathers and are designed to be timeless and sophisticated. The brand offers casual styles with a wide variety of bold colors, and has something for every fashionista. This small boutique line of bags is designed by two Los Angeles-based designers, Laura Darrah and Shelia Nizzarian. I was lucky enough to interview Laura and find out how these two designers were able to launch their handbag collection and attract such an elite clientele. Laura tells me: “We date as bridesmaids at a friend’s wedding. We named our line of bags Treesje after a friend.” The line launched in 2005, and one of the first to open it was Los Angeles fashion trendsetter Lauren Conrad. She started carrying bags even before she was on the hit show The Hills. She liked the uniqueness of the bags. I asked Laura what makes them unique. She replied: “I think it's a mixture of edgy funk touches and classical influences. Plus, we're two designers, so you really have two points of view." B197
