This item is *likely* a Trench Art sweetheart hand-carved wooden heart from WWII, featuring a design associated with the USA Army. A metal piece has been affixed at the top so it can be worn as a pendant or hung anywhere. The heart-shaped piece is a sentimental piece of militaria from the time period, likely created by a soldier as a gift for a loved one.
