TV Tressemaines & Vogt Limoges Floral Porcelain 11" Pitcher
Circa 1891-1907 green stamp on bottom with red bell stamp.
Additional retailer mark for J.McD & S. "J.McD.&S Boston" which was a famous American fine china and porcelain dealer and distributor named "Jones, McDuffie & Stratton" located out of Boston.
Made in Montjovis district, Limoges, Limousin, France
11" H x 6" OD at lower section.
Porcelain factory partnered by Gustave Vogt (1849-1937) and Émilien de Tressemanes. Their partnership began in 1882 when they ran the Limoges-based decorating firm founded in the 1850s by John Vogt. Their factory produced high-quality whiteware for the American export market. Tressemanes retired in 1907 and Vogt was sole owner until 1919 when Martial Raynaud acquired the company.
Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Light gold wear on rim.
