Please let me which color you are interested in. The fit is comparable to Levis 541 "athletic fit" jeans. I have actually squatted in my 541 jeans. Another perspective regarding fit is I wear a size 34 waist in RRL relaxed fit selvedge jeans. That said, if you deadlift and squat these will work well for you.
