Honeyhouse dress. I wore this twice, Top part doesn’t fit me right, which is why I never wore it. Pined over this dress and finally bought it. It has stitched eyelet pattern (like petals) in yellow, orange, bronze, and berry. Adorable dress, looks just like the picture. No signs of wear at all. Boning in upper. This dress is too cute to sit in my closet, as much as I hate to part with it. I do believe I cut the hanger loops out, and that’s the only signs of “use” I can see. Perfect for summer.

chefboyrleigh @ktmv13 so this is a little tricky because the narrowest part is just under the bust, since it’s slightly empire. The yellow strip under the bust measures just over 13” across, though that’s technically just a smidge higher than the waist. It goes into a slight a-line after that. Is that the info you were looking for?

ktmv13 @chefboyrleigh my daughter wears a sz 25waist.She is 5’1 & 95-98lbs (also in bust/hips)She wears sz 0/00/ & 0P/SMP most often. Never larger!Yet some Anthropologie dresses indicate she’d need a sz. 2 bc the waist is 24in.My worry is that a sz 0’s waist will be too tight and sz 2 will be too big.Do you have advice on whether a sz 0 or 2 would be better in this dress based on her usual size/figue.Ik it’s empire waist, so mb that helps.Would appreciate any help.Sorry to ask.THANK YOU!k

chefboyrleigh @ktmv13 I think my biggest concern with this dress would be the bust. I’m tall and a true size 2 and found this dress very true to size. However if you have no bust at all, the only support you’ll have to keep the dress up will be the structure around the waistband. There is bonding in the bust area but not sure your daughter’s chest size. I can take more measurements if that’s helpful for you. It is an absolutely darling dress. I paid close to $200 for it and only wore it twice

ktmv13 @chefboyrleigh I’m so torn. She has a Lilly dress that is a 0 (but the style ran big.) It had a 26 in waist and it did work. I think the 2 is the best call on the waist bc 26 (13 each side) gives wiggle toom. I just don’t want her to have it fall down. Although boodness kniws there are a ton of “foundation garments” that work wonders. Is this one that has straps. If not, mb we could get some sewn in.TY for going above& beyond! Will let you know where we end up.You’re a huge help:)

chefboyrleigh @ktmv13 I think the size 2 would make sense too but I’m not a sizing expert so I’d feel bad telling you it would fit if it ends up being too big. I also have an adorable J Crew dress that’s yellow with straps. It’s pretty much the cutest dress ever if she likes that one, it’s a 00, fits like a 0.
