I have worn this dress 2 times several years ago. I am 5'8.5" and it is long on me (about 1.5 to 2 inches longer than me when I am barefoot). While I show the dress with the thin straps on the dress form, I always wore it strapless. As you can see in the picture the lower back is revealed. The color is a rich dark bluish gray. It is in very good shape although it could use a good steaming or dry cleaning to get out wrinkles. There is a hidden zipper and a hook on the side. See picture for fabric
