Talbots yellow checkered housewife style dress

Talbots yellow check patterned 50’s housewife style dress, never worn. Originally bought because I wanted to tailor it(it’s a size 12, I’m a 4-8) but never wore it and got lazy. It’s the perfect summer dress, especially for a curvier figure. The cover photo is me cinching the wait of it and the second is it let loose. For reference, I’m 5’8, 145lbs, and typically a size 4-8 or small-medium in dresses. Negotiable.
