Tall Vintage Candle Covered With Authentic Gucci Fabric (From A Purse)

In the early 2000'a, I started making tall & small Gucci candles with fabric from a large soft tote-like large purse that had a small area stained from a flood on it. When I ran out, I bought fabric. This was my very first one that I kept and used. I don't remember how much light comes thru, but you can use tea lights or larger ones. It's great as an ornamental piece and I received rave reviews on them. The last photo is of the candle when it was first made with a smaller one. It has signs of wear as shown on every area of it. It's 8 1/8" tall and the INSIDE measures 2 1/4" in diameter. The wax on the outside can be sanded, scraped off or just use it as a show piece. You'll get a lot of compliments and questions. Just put the best side facing out. It's darkened with age. The fabric is tight, as is the seam and the pleated bottom. It's also very heavy from the wax (no wick that I see. Probably burned down) in it. I also made them covered in Mackenzie Childs napkins and will eventually post a pic of them when I find the 2 left.
