@violet5110 The hip measurement for the size large is approximately 29" across. This kimono robe does have side slits which allows for more room in the hip area. I hope that helps.

@mllepeculiar Hello, I believe it would work for you. They are pretty roomy. The medium is equal to a US 8-10 & a size large is equal to a US 12-14.
