Like I said I'm still new but I feel like I atleast know what to watch out for & how to see if someone is a scammer. Thankfully, there isn't many out there now but sense PM is growing who knows what we will come across. @justprincessj helped me A LOT!!! She's the best. I'm really not trying to scare u & it's very rare bad things happen. I just HATE seeing ppl that lie, cheat & steal & hate it even more when it happens to honest good ppl! chaos @4sq Poshers say to be careful who I'm working with. Idk what can happen..fo they mean in selling? Buying? If I sell, don't I wait to get paid first & then send items? For buying, I guess they mean to be sure I'll receive the items. That part I'm confused about. Also, they say to read profiles...do they mean their pictures & posts?

door4 @chaos well a lot of people do trades on here ( which poshmark does not recommend anyway) some people have been scammed in trades .. to do a trade both people have to agree to set their item at zero dollars and each purchases the shipping label .. it's based on trusting that the other person will send their item , and that it will be. in the condition as described ... some people send out their item and never get anything in return ... poshmark cannot help you in these instances because there was no actual sale ... like I said poshmark does not support trades... but if you choose to trade one of your items then at least you should do is read the comments on that seller's items that have. been sold to see if they have had dissatisfied people ...the same thing applies if you want to purchase an item - go to that person's sold item and read the comments - it will clue you in on how well they conduct business - myself, I have a feedback listing so other poshers can get an idea of what type of customer service and reputation I have ... ... in selling, I think it is safe - someone purchase your item and poshmark emails you the priory mail shipping label ... which means the customer receives the package in 2-3 days... once they receive it they are supposed to check the item to be sure it was as you described and you did not falsely mislead them about the condition of the item ...they have 3 days to click accept on the item and as soon as they do poshmark will then release their funds to you ... if you buy an item, as soon as you get it you need to inspect it to see if it is as described and if so click accept this item ... if it is not as described then you need to email support@poshmark.com immediately ... for instance if you purchase what someone has told you is 100% authentic Gucci purse and you get it and clearly it is not authentic then IMMEDIATELY contact poshmark and do not accept the item ... poshmark will expect you to provide pics and proof that its not authentic ... selling on here is usually not a problem it's when you buy higher end merchandise or when you trade that you can potentially run into problems ... do when doing either of those things, read the seller's comments on their sold listings and that will give you insight as to the person's reputation ... I have not been scammed on here, but I have a "no trade policy" which as I have said is not even supported by poshmark

chaos @4sq again, thank u!! I am not interested in trading so that helps. The main thing is if someone is a scammer, it seems they can delete posts (I see delete) at bottom of each listing. But I seem covered, in that POSH gives me the ability to check the merchandise! Smart & good system here. :-)  you're a superstar !! Thanks!

door4 @chaos yes they can delete posts , but you will also see listings in the feed that other poshers will warn you about scammers and give you their names - pay attention to those ... and you will see listings of poshers that people recommend as good sellers too - pay attention to those also ... but selling is easy and poshmark has your back on that
