ABT American Ballet Theatre Claquette style tap shoes girls size 3. They are for a school age girl NOT a toddler. They are black patent vegan leather with hook and loop straps and a slip through silver tone ring as a buckle. The ring makes them more secure and keeps the hook and loop fastener on the outside of the shoe where it will not snag tights or hose. It also makes them look more polished then hook and loop alone. They have aluminum tap pads at the toes and heels. The heels have adjustable Phillips head screws to adjust the sound of the heel taps. The front taps are not adjustable. They have fuzzy padded insoles. The uppers are in excellent shape with just slight creasing at the bend of the toes and NO damage. Not even clear scuffs. The outsole has only superficial scratching from dancing, nothing deep. The smudgy looking areas on the black outsoles near the heels are from sitting on barstool type chairs with a footrest waiting to dance. The brand stamps on the insole have rubbed away but are still identifiable. The functional integrity is like new and there is no noticeable wear when wearing.
