Taupe Apex Women’s Oxford Shoes 6.5 Wide with Spacers accommodates orthotics

These lovely Taupe Apex Karen Oxfords in Women 6.5 Wide come with both spacers and insoles to be worn as is or to accommodate most Orthotics. They have slip resistant soles. The insoles that come with them have a heel cup and some arch support. I think of these as a sort of mushroom color with both tan and grey tones. They are leather, and most of the shoe is lightly fabric lined. IME, these shoes are actually deep, which persons with a variety of toe and instep problems will appreciate. Also, I love their design. So I was initially determined to make these extra deep shoes work for me. Therefore, I inserted high quality, thick, Sof brand heel liners to try to get these to fit my wide feet with narrow heels. But unfortunately, it takes more than heel liners to get truly narrow heels to work in wide shoes. I will leave the heel liners on in case they are useful to you, although I don’t think one of them was placed on very well. These were worn on the wood floors of my bedroom and living room for the duration of several try on sessions with different orthotics and socks. There is residue on the soles from the bar code stickers that were on them as well as some debris picked up off my floor. Additionally, I seem to always find some minor flaw to photograph that I had never noticed when purchasing them for myself. So do check out the photos carefully.
