This vintage sterling Yalalag Cross pendant is marked "JCB, Taxco Mexico, Sterling" and has the "Eagle 3" stamp. The pendant is 2 ¾ inches tall and 1 ⅝ inches wide. The cross has 3 additional crosses that hang on the central cross, which in set with a purple amethyst cabochon. The handmade vintage chain, marked 925 with a maker’s mark, is 24 inches long and has a drop of 12 inches. The Yalalag Cross predates the Spanish in Mexico and is a beautiful expression of Faith.

@last75461 It's not heavy, and by that I mean it weighs 15 grams (1/2 oz), though it is a good size. It definitely has a "presence", and people will notice it, but it won't weigh on your neck. The craftsman was skilled and created something of beauty out of love.
