Hi, I love your closet! I have 2 kiddos too and am trying to get organized to begin translating. May I ask how you got started and if you have any tips or suggestions? I have a degree in Spanish but no professional translation experience. I feel it is a Catch 22: I can't get a job bc I don't have experience, but I don't have experience bc I can't get a job! Anyway, welcome to Posh! If you have any questions I can try to answer them!

@smalleyville thank you for the all shares and like;) I started my translation job from being an assistant of professional which couldn't make really good money but I have small kids so I didn't want any super busy job. It might be little tough to be English - Spanish translator because of the number of people who can speak Spanish in the u.s. nowadays. Which means you have to have outstanding ability in Spanish. Especially I feel it because I'm in SD...haha
Anyways, if you're really interested in translating then if suggest to get translating and pc skills degrees as well;) there is ATA (American Translating Association) so you can register as the first step. It's kinda tough job because not only language skills but research skills, PC skills, strict due, and mostly you can't say that you don't know or can't find the exact words but its not really bad job for moms;) I wish you the best of luck😊
