** full transparency** I have done research on this bag and the brand and I have come up empty handed as to the exact material it is constructed from. This brand is known for high end custom purses and wallets. The clutch itself feels almost like a cork/leather combination with a suede lining interior. The handle that came with my purchase(not from the original retailer) is very lightweight and I am not positive if it is the original handle or not, the strap could easily be replaced to something better to your liking.
