"The Battle of Lake Erie" DVD

This DVD was put together by the National Parks Service and gives a great history of Commodore Oliver Perry's victory in Lake Erie during the war of 1812 with the British. This battle turned the tide on the war, taking place on September 10, 1813. It details events leading up to the war, and the background on why it was so important for the US to it. Great history lesson that could be shown in class. A classic Ohio history event.
