a_tatou @mayte777 I actually wasn't too crazy about the 2nd book (& the only one I've ever read in this set) when I read it as a 6th-grader. Like it was ok to me. I loved books like the Wrinkle in Time quartet, enjoyed Harry Potter, absolutely adored Lemony Snicket's entire Series of Unfortunate Events, etc... All of these I read in elementary & middle school. But I just didn't find this set appealing for some reason.

mayte777 @a_tatou I absolutely understand, reading is just like that. It's such a wondrous world where you can totally be swept up into another place...but ONLY if you actually enjoy it. I just happen to not only have genuinely enjoyed this series but also grew a fond appreciation for CS Lewis himself and his spiritual writings as well which Narnia was a construct of anyway.😊

bettyswhiskey @mayte777 YES 🙌 me too!! One of my friends is hosting a BOOKS FOR BABY baby shower. I mean this isn’t a baby book series lol but def magical with an excellent storyline & meaning! My dad read it to me when I was little. I still ♥️ (even more as an adult).
