Several years ago the idea for this deck was part of the system now known as The Well Worn Path divination deck. Because the concept was so unique at the time, the publisher wanted to introduce it in a forty-card format as opposed to the original proposal of eighty cards. To accomplish this we selected forty cards that depicted the foundational concepts of Paganism, Wicca, and Witchcraft. The Well Worn Path deck was so well received that a decision was made to introduce an additional forty cards as The Hidden Path divination system. Like its predecessor, The Hidden Path is not a Tarot deck, but is instead a unique divination system designed specifically for the needs of modern Pagans, Witches, and Wiccans. It provides a system that presents themes that depict the spiritual Pagan culture of our European ancestors, and conveys the inner myster-ies, concepts, and beliefs that are the roots of modern practice in Paganism, Wicca, and Witchcraft.
