Someone asked me if this would work for a petite size so I measured from the bottom front up to the cut in the collar as pictured and it’s 16 inches (tried to take a picture). I measured the back seam top and bottom and it was 20 inches. The back is cut up shorter than a normal
Jacket so it might work for a shorter person for sure.

Would you say this fabric is more of a sateen style? In the photos it also resembles a female tuxedo style fabric. Also, are there any bottoms that match? No dealbreaker, just curious 😅

@blaynemeshell I don’t know if I would call it sateen. I can go look tomorrow on the fabric makeup if you would like. There are two pairs of pants in my closet that are Cassidy fit limited brand. They might match the jacket but I would have to look tomorrow to be 100% certain. Just let me know if you would like for me to go look.

@blaynemeshell the bottoms I mentioned are a tab but of a different shade of black. I updated pictures with materials and some measurements in this item just now. The front where I measured is 16 inches. I measured the back seam from top to bottom and it is 20 inches. It is a bit shorter in the back than a typical suit jacket so it very well would work for a shorter person compared to the other jackets in my closet. Hope this helps.

@pamelahiggin103 I’m actual 5’6 but I have a semi-short waist. I love the style of the jacket though and though it could be really cute for NYE. Don’t worry about the pants. I just that it might be part of a set. Thank you for being so responsive!
