Blown glass lion ornament from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, made by Morawski ornaments. Design is inspired by "The Animal Creation," an 1875 lithograph by Currier & Ives that echoes the prophecy in Isaiah 11:6. The lion is pale ivory color with caramel brown mane and hand-painted face. Beautiful ornament for Christmas or everyday display. NWT in original unlabeled packing box.
