I bought these North Face Apex STH pants in March 2017. They are the “deep garnet red” color in size XS SHORT. Worn with lots of love for about four seasons, rotated with many other pants but I did have a special place in my heart for these. Washed with technical detergent and wash-in waterproofing to maintain their ability to repel water. They come to you clean! There is still a lot of life left in these pants but some signs of wear include: a few small nicks from ski edges on the inside near the bottom of the pants, a little wear to the stitching on the right back hip, and internally the hook and eye closure works but the fabric around the hook is starting to tear. The hook remains firmly attached from what I can tell. See photos. Measurements include a 30” inseam (maybe a touch less) and a 13.5” waist laid flat. I’m 5’2” and that’s me in the last picture.
