Will this layer hold up in heavy rains or is it more of a lightweight windbreaker material that won’t necessarily keep me dry or warm?

@chaimeichen this is more of a midweight. Like with any rain jacket, it depends on how long you’ll be in the rain for. For the best rain protection - $600 Arc’teryx Beta AR jacket is your best bet. But if you’re in the rain for 12 hours, nothing will keep you totally dry

@chaimeichen for warmth, you’ll need layers. Rain jackets are shells jackets so you’ll want to wear something underneath a shell
