The North Face Recon Backpack, One Size, Gray and Charcoal. This backpack has been on many hiking adventures with me and is very well loved. Everything is very much in working order. There is of course some wear from all the trips I've taken it on- scruffs on the reflective pads on the front of the backpack and peeling from the inner liner near the zipper in the larger zippered pocket. But don't worry, the peeling is just the color coat of the liner, there are no holes from the plastic peeling. This recon has plenty of pockets, including a laptop sleeve in the larger compartment. There are two main compartments, one larger in the back and a smaller one in the front. The smaller front compartment has lots of pockets on the inside for pens, your phone, etc. There is a large open mesh pocket on the front with a clip- very useful when hiking or traveling by plane. There are two mesh drink pockets on the sides with adjustable straps. There is a chest and waist clip on strap for adventuring. The back has a comfortable gel pad that makes it comfortable to carry. The arm straps have lots of elastic straps to clip things onto.
