This is a cozy The North Face dusty purple jacket, women's size medium. The coat features zip pockets, the classic embroidered logo on front and back, and a collar that will either stand up or lay flat. It has softer fabric on the arms and sides. I would say this would be a good fall or spring jacket - not quite thick enough for winters (but I'm talking winters in the Midwest).
