The Original Carpet Bag by Jerry Terrence Vintage 1960’s Candy Stripe Unlined

1964 began the line of bold, unique, well-constructed purses bearing The Original Jerry Terrence Carpet Bag label, which women enthusiastically bought for a retail price of about $8.99 each. The line has had a relaunch due to their popularity. This bag is the ORIGINAL carpetbag and is a groovy piece of American history and fashion. Condition is good for a 58 year old bag. There are surface scratches on the hardware and the inside has some discoloration. Outside of bag is very good. Measures 12”x13.5” not including the strap. I have used it for my tablet
