The Practical Encyclopedia of Asian Cooking is a beautifully photographed and comprehensive guide to the food and cuisine of Asian—with authentic and enticing recipes. Part One is a visual catalog: introduction to the different cuisines, plus a fact-filled guide to useful equipment, catalog of various Asian ingredients ranging from daily staples to exotic ingredients, essential cooking and preparation techniques, and more. Part Two: over 100 authentic recipes with easy-to-follow, illustrated step-by-step instructions including classic dishes such as Peking duck and dim sum.
Pre-owned, in mostly good condition. The inside pages are neat, no torn pages, however throughout many of the pages in random parts of the book, there is a minor imprint and slight warpage (possibly from the tassels of a bookmark, can be seen in last photo). For its age, the dust jacket is in very good condition: biggest imperfection is some minor tearing and tape on the inner top inner spine portion (2nd from last photo), aside from that just minor wrinkles and tiny tears along the edges. If you remove the dust jacket, the hardcover has the same illustrations, there's a small dent along the bottom (3rd from last photo).
