Corners and edges show very little shelf wear. Spine is slightly askew. Front cover and spine are embossed with a vine emblem. Cover shows some chipping at the spine top and bottom, but has been well protected otherwise by the mylar cover and paper wrap underneath.
Pages: Pages are darkened with age. Print is clear. Binding is tight, no loose pages. No mildew/mold/smoke smells. No foxing or water damage. Page 97 is torn (see photos). Owner's name written in ink along with comment "Rather good - Dec. 4, 1944" on front inside cover.
