The Silent Butler or Crumber by The Sheffield Silver Co. Vintage 1940s USA Made

Silver Plated with a hinged lid, thumb lever is a clawed animal foot, wood handle unscrews to remove. L 10.5in x H 3.5in x Diameter 6in. A bucking stallion is engraved on the top. There is a built in compartment on the bottom with a slot where a brush is kept. To use, pull the brush out of the slot on the bottom, open lid by pulling back on the thumb lever and sweep the crumbs from the tabletop into the Silent Butler. These items were also used as a place to dump ash trays. Excellent condition. Inside looks unused. Vintage from the 1940s. Made in the USA. Impress your guests at your next dinner party!
